Products: What You Sell (and How Production Uses Supplies)
Create finished goods, attach recipes, and record production so inventory and profitability stay accurate.
What this area is for
Products are finished goods you sell on orders and in POS.

Key concepts
- Initial quantity on hand: Your starting stock of finished goods.
- Associated recipes: Lets the system calculate ingredient requirements and deduct ingredients when you make products.
- Packaging per product: Tracks packaging usage per item sold/produced.
How to create a product
- Click Create product.
- Set product name, price, and initial on-hand.
- Add packaging “per product” if applicable.
- Attach recipe(s) and set servings so the system knows how much recipe output maps to one product.

A) Make products (production)
Use Make this Product to record production. The system can show ingredient requirements and warn about deficits.

B) Remove product inventory (spoilage, sold elsewhere, adjustments)
Use Remove Inventory to reduce on-hand with a reason.
