What to pay attention to
- Customer: Helps you understand who buys and supports follow-ups.
- Date: Drives reporting and reconciliation.
- Session (optional): Groups sales from an event like a market day.
- Line items + adjustments: Explains totals and profitability.

Common workflows
A) Find a sale and verify details
- Use search and filters (date range, customer, session).
- Open the sale details to confirm items, totals, and any discounts/charges.

B) Create a one-off sale (not POS)
If you’re not running a live selling session, you can add a single sale from the Sales page.

Tips / common gotchas
- If you run a market day or event, use a session so reporting stays clean (see Live Sales / POS).
- If totals look surprising, check adjustments (discounts/charges) and item quantities first.
